A landscape lighting palm tree ring is a light fixture support band that is designed to attach to a tall tree by encircling the trunk. It usually accommodates 3 - 7 lights that can be pointed in varying degrees. Tree rings are a must-have for landscape lighting designers. Palm tree lighting is an art and most of the time; the beauty of taller trees is lost at night. By using the Lightcraft palm tree ring you are able to capture the beauty of the palm fronds and canopies at night. The tree ring fixtures will allow beautiful ambient lighting - directionally up into the fronds of down lighting on the ground. Each light can be arranged in a full 360 degrees of rotation, so some can point up, some can point down. For moonlighting effect, point the lights down. For trunks and branches, point the lights up. Lightcraft offers a wide selection of landscape fix-tures which are sold separately from the tree ring. The Lightcraft palm tree ring is two brass bands with multiple knock outs that fit around the tree to set the appropriate diameter. Multiple stainless steel bolt rods
(hex head) are included to adjust the tension-held design. Also included are stainless springs to accommodate slight adjustments in the trunk size growth. Note: Palm tree trunks do not vary much over time. Typically, tree rings are installed about three-quarters of the way up the tree. The tree ring is meant to be above eye level to minimize glare. The tree ring accepts most directional landscape lighting fixture with ½” npt knock outs. The Lightcraft tree rings are available in (2) adjustable sizes, 23”- 30” and
